A
BiPack System is used to
dispense
2-component adhesives from 50ML,
200ML and
400ML cartridge
guns.
A
system typically consists of a hand-held
pneumatic (left) or manual gun
(below),
a dual component cartridge
(which is comprised of a variety of different types of stoppers, plugs and
shims), and a motionless mixer. |
The adhesive manufacturer will usually suggest the right mixer by specifying
the number of elements and length of the mixer you need. The mixer type is
determined by the size and ratio of the cartridge. (See table below).
These 50ML guns use dual cartridges,
which are usually prefilled by your adhesive manufacturer. If the
manufacturer does not provide your adhesives in cartridges, IDS
can pre-package any dual
component material in 50ML, 200ML or 400ML bi-pack
cartridges in 1:1, 2:1,4:1 and 10:1 cartridges, as
well as
Universal Cartridges, in some
cases.
If your adhesive supplier does not offer packaging, or if you have
already purchased material in bulk, let IDS
Quote
you on your packaging needs. In addition to cartridge guns, we carry
a complete line of mixers, but due to the complexity of packaging,
we do not sell empty cartridges in bulk and we do not
recommend do-it-yourself packaging of a BiPack cartridge.
