Timed Air Dual Gauge Fully Digital Fluid Dispensing System sends air into the syringe to push your material out in measured doses. Includes an extra digital gauge for measuring vacuum pressure. This is the dispenser of choice for most adhesive dispensing applications where it is important to gauge both input and vacuum in the application. Click for larger picture.

The fully digital dispenser is equipped with a vacuum mechanism to prevent material dripping or stringing and the vacuum pressure is clearly shown in a brightly lit digital gauge. This unit also has a digital timer, which allows the user to adjust the dispensing time precisely.
Input can signal the dispenser to dispense by sending a simple I/O signal from a robot or a PLC.

Dispensing and vacuum pressures display digitally in bright, easy to read numbers on the front of the unit. The digital display allows the user to monitor either the dispense time or the pressure measurement and is excellent for monitoring your most exact process control. This compact, low cost unit has many of the features of far more expensive dispensing systems and takes up a very small portion of your benchtop. It is one of our most popular offline dispensers.

Each IntelliSpense™ Digital Timed Air Dispenser Package contains:

  • IntelliSpense™ Digital Timed Air Dispenser
  • Power Cord
  • Air Pressure Connector
  • Barrel Adapter (30/55cc/ml)
  • Needle assortment startup kit
  • Foot Pedal or (optional) Finger Switch
  • Universal Power Supply (115 or 230V).

Digital Timed Air Dispenser
Setup

  • Connect the Air Pressure Connector on the back of the system to the nearest air compressor line.
  • Connect the Foot Pedal on the back of the system or (optional) Finger Switch on the front of the system.
  • Fill the dispensing barrel with adhesive into the correct barrel adapter.
  • 30cc/ml Adapter (also fits 55cc/ml) is included, 3, 5, and 10cc/ml are also available, separately.
  • Connect the chosen syringe adapter to the front of the system.
  • If you are using the optional Finger Switch, place switch onto the dispensing barrel or foot pedal, connect the Power Cord on the back of the system and switch the power on, making sure all the display and light indicators are working properly.
  • Auto-adjusting power supply will accommodate 110V-230V voltage.
  • Select the appropriate needle from the starter kit and adjust air pressure and vacuum until you have appropriate size dots or beads.
  • Pull out regulator and adjust air pressure until desired pressure is set; push in and lock to set the pressure.

1. Pressure Indicator - Top: Displays air pressure in the system (psi)
                                    Bottom: Displays vacuum pressure (psi)
 2. Pressure Regulator - Adjust air pressure; increase with clockwise and decrease with counter clockwise.
 3. Adapter Port - Connect syringe adapter, press down and rotate to engage.
 4. Vacuum Knob - Adjust vacuum suck-back pressure in the syringe to prevent adhesive dripping; decrease clockwise, increase counter clockwise.
 5. Timer Setting (Up) - Increase dispensing time setting using timer.

6. Timer Display - Display dispensing time (0.01sec – 99.99sec).

7. Timer Setting (Down) - Decrease dispensing time when using timer.

8. Dispensing Indicator - The indicator will light up during dispensing.
 9. Finger Switch Port - Connect (optional) finger switch. Insert plug to use.
10. Power Switch - System main power - switch on, light will come on.
11. Timer Switch - Switch on and the power light will light up.

Turn off the timer switch; use the foot pedal to activate the dispenser until the adhesive fills up the needle and flows out the barrel to eliminate any trapped air. If the adhesive does not flow out of the syringe and through the needle,  adjust the pressure or replace the needle and repeat until satisfactory.

Place the barrel 45 degree to the process object and fit the needle on top of the dispensing point.

Manual dispensing; turn off the timer switch and step on the foot pedal (or press optional finger switch) to activate dispensing; remove your foot or stop pressing the finger switch button to stop the dispensing. Timer display will display the current dispensing time for your reference.

Timed dispensing; turn on the timer switch and set the timer; step on the foot pedal (or press optional finger switch) once to activate one single timed dispense shot, repeat the process by stepping on the pedal (or press optional finger switch) again.

Make certain air supply is clean and dry. Avoid turning barrels upside down or laying barrel so that material may run through air line to internal components.

Avoid turning the vacuum up too high; this may cause the generation of bubbles in the material or the material to run back into the system. If the piston inside the barrel is running up and down during dispensing, it could mean the material is too thick (high viscosity) and you will need to replace the piston with our red piston.

Avoid connecting to any unregulated air supply exceeding 7 kg/cm2 (100 psi) and 2 kg/cm2 (30 psi) for the low pressure dispenser. Use Amyl Alcohol to clean outside surface of the main housing. If you want to save a syringe barrel for further use, please take off the needle and replace with tip cap (optional) or place the barrel on the barrel stand to help prevent solidification.
