The 7050000 Micro
Metering Valve with
Micrometer Adjustment
is designed to dispense extremely small
(0.0002-0.0022cc/ml)
volumes with precision. Two air ports in the air section operate a piston,
which retracts the needle inside the fluid
section then moves it back into place to
dispense a single shot of material.
The metering chamber fills as the needle retracts out of the body, then
dispenses as the needle moves back into the body.

The air section is an
aluminum body with a simple piston/cylinder combination used to open and
close the valve. The fluid section is stainless steel, which includes a
needle, and two check valves to make up the metering cylinder.

The metering chamber
fills as the needle retracts out of the body, then dispenses as the
needle moves back into the body. A stroke adjustment bolt in the air
body controls how far the needle draws back, thus altering how much
material can fill the metering chamber to be dispensed.
The
5900011VC
Valve Controller
is the controller
of choice for this
particular Mini-valve.

Requires a 2-position, 4-way air solenoid valve to actuate the air
section.

The valve should
be operated with clean, dry air between 60-100psi.

Two #10-32
threaded air ports are on the air section of the valve.

The port closest to the mid-section is air actuating to fill fluid chamber.

The
other port is for air to actuate the
dispensing of material.

Quick connect air
fittings are supplied to fit 5/32” air
tubing.

Air
pressure should be connected such that the valve is normally in the
filled, and ready to dispense position.

Fluid is supplied
through the female luer lock fitting located on the
stainless steel fluid section of the valve.
