Peristaltic pumps are typically used to pump clean or
sterile fluids because the pump cannot contaminate the fluid, or to pump
aggressive fluids because the fluid cannot contaminate the pump. Some
common applications include pumping aggressive chemicals, high solids,
slurries and other materials where isolation of the product from the
environment, and the environment from the product are critical. |
Air Free Peristaltic Pump Operation
-
Connect the Power
Cord on the back of the system and switch the power on. Please make
sure all the display and light indicators are working properly.
(110V-240V full voltage).
-
Connect the Foot
Pedal on the back of the system or connect the (optional) Finger
Switch on the front of the system.
-
Place the Teflon
tube inside the rotary pump.
-
Insert the front
end of the Teflon tube inside the dispensing pen, if you have the
(optional) finger switch; attach it by securing the Velcro strap
around the dispensing pen.
-
Turn on the main
power switch before use.

Because the only part of the pump in contact with the
fluid being pumped is the interior of the tube, it is easy to sterilize
and clean the inside surfaces of the pump. Furthermore,
the lack of valves, seals and glands makes
them comparatively inexpensive to maintain, and the use of a hose or
tube makes for a relatively low-cost maintenance item compared to other
pump types. |
Features
By using a step motor, the
IntelliSpense™ Air Free Peristaltic Pump does not
require an air source. It can achieve 0.9 degree precision and 0 ~ 120
rpm. This precision dispenser can process low
viscosity fluids in minute quantities and is
suitable for a variety of fluids, especially CA.
The genuine Teflon delivery
path can easily dispense any of the
difficult-to-dispense Cyanoacrylates. |
