The IntelliSpense™ PolyCarb Syringe barrel is made from crystal-clear polycarbonate and features an ABS push rod. This syringe can withstand significant pressure, allowing for rapid dispensing of viscous fluids under vigorous conditions.

IDS Polycarbonate syringes are used to facilitate administration or withdrawal of fluids and are especially effective when used with a Syringe Pump. No matter what the use, polycarbonate syringes make working with fluids easier.

The IntelliSpense™ PolyCarb Syringe Barrel is shatter-resistant and perfectly clear, which in turn makes it very easy to detect air bubbles and fluid levels. The syringes are certified to be latex-free (to avoid cross contamination) autoclavable and are naturally resistant to most fluids*. There is a lubricant used in the barrel, Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), which is a widely used silicon-based organic polymer. These syringes are available in 3, 6, 10, 20, 30 and 60 ml/cc sizes (please see dimensions below) and are sold in non-sterile packaging, 25 units per box, 4 boxes per case.

All IntelliSpense™ PolyCarb Syringes are available with a Luer Lock or Luer Slip hub, which will not easily break or leak and work with any of our IntelliSpense brand needles or tips. The plunger and tip caps are bright yellow to differentiate them from our IntelliSpense™ Polyethylene Manual Syringes.
