Universal Cartridge
Custom Packaging Option Only
Empty Plastics are not Sold

Stores one component in front of the other, but both are extruded through the cartridge outlet into a static mixer.

The rear piston is stationary.

As the inner can is pushed forward, the red fluid is extruded into the center tube and through the cartridge outlet.

The illustrated cartridge shows a 1:1 ratio cartridge. A 2:1 ratio cartridge is also available.

With the 2:1 cartridge, the stationary piston and inner can have a smaller diameter and cross section area.

Allow us to package your two component materials in a Universal cartridge and dispense from a low-cost manual or pneumatic cartridge gun!

The Universal Cartridge fits in a standard rod driven caulking gun, the first real new breakthrough in two-component cartridge design.

The Universal is the only cartridge system that maintains accurate ratio control and fits into your existing 1/10th gallon or 310mL standard caulking gun.

Note: You CANNOT use the Universal Cartridge with rodless Pneumatic Dispensers. Use only Rod driven dispensers, either manual, pneumatic or electric.

The Universal Cartridge looks identical to standard caulking cartridges-you might not realize it is two-component until you begin to dispense your product. The cartridge body is molded of a rigid plastic that won’t burst or expand, even in the most demanding application.

The interior components are fully assembled and each cartridge is air tested. This 100% inspected process guarantees that, after filling, the cartridge will maintain a superior shelf life and provide trouble-free applications in the field.

Low viscosity (very thin) adhesives packaged in the Universal Cartridge will require special handling. These thin liquids often too flow too freely  and will sometimes migrate past the vents inside the standard Universal.

No universal cartridges are sold empty. Only trained personnel with specialized equipment are licensed to fill these cartridges.

To handle thin liquids, a special version of the 1:1 and 2:1 cartridge is required. These materials tend to drip out of the cartridge when attaching a mixer and/or they can co-mingle within the mixer and work their way back into the cartridge. There is, however, a line of flow restrictors which addresses these issues.
