Available in a
600 Watt system, too.
The standard UV
conveyor system utilizes two 400W lamp heads,
with a total output of
800W (or heat similar to eight 100 w incandescent
light bulbs). IDS lamp heads have optical
filters to minimize temperature rise, and forced air which passes down over
the parts inside the curing chamber.

the
MotionCure
is a low-cost,
automation-ready always-on UV flood curing system
without the frills. The long life metal
halide lamps and parabolic reflectors
illuminate a full
8 x 6 inch curing area with evenly distributed
UV light. Both units feature a unique no wait standby mode.
A Word About Heat
There are
many factors that will affect temperature rise of the cured parts (e.g.
surface area, mass, final belt speed, ambient temperature, exhaust air flow,
etc.), so it is difficult to predict the actual temperature of the parts
in any specific application,
but we can perform testing for you in our laboratory if
you send us parts and adhesive. This simple test will
help to verify that the system will work for your application before
you commit to a purchase.
Features
• Adjustable Lamp Height
Foldaway end covers provide quick access to height adjustment pins, which
provide perfectly repeatable settings of lamp head to belt distance.
• Adjustable End Chute
The system has an adjustable position end chute for accumulating cured
parts as they exit the conveyor.
• Exhaust Port
The light chamber has a top-mounted 3" diameter port, for optional venting
to facility exhaust systems.
• Optional Mounting Stands
The system may be configured with extruded aluminum height adjustable
mounting stands. The stands have unique swivel support brackets that allow
them to support inclined conveyors, as well as provide angular transitions
between continuous conveyors.
• Digital Speed Readout
A digital rate meter accurately displays the conveyor's belt speed in feet
per minute, allowing for repeatable curing time settings. Settings show
speeds from 1/2 foot to 12 feet per minute.
• Removable Lamp heads
The system’s dual lamp heads can be easily removed for bulb replacement
and maintenance. The lamp heads can also be moved quickly from the
conveyor to optional low cost shielded mounting stands. This feature
allows for offline engineering process testing, and maximum equipment
utilization.
• Full UV shielding
The conveyor light chamber is totally enclosed, shielding the operator and
passer-bys from any UV radiation. The light chamber entrance and exit are
protected by sliding tinted acrylic doors with extended hoods.
• Performance
0.5 to 12 Ft./min., >100 mW/cm2 (400W Head), >150 mW/cm2 (600W
Head), Exposure: 1 lamp = 3.3-80 sec.
(333-8,000mJ), 2 lamps = 6.65 to 160 sec. (665-16,000mJ).
• Dimensions
54 inch length, 10 inch width, 15.5 to 20 inch overall height, 9-inch belt
width, 6-inch cure width.
• Other Options
The light chamber can be outfitted with various reflector, and lamp
spectrum options. Other conveyor lengths are also available as special
order.
