IDS Is not an on site integration or engineering firm. We do not offer "Turn Key" systems. While we offer suggestions to our customers, and will verify compatibility when presented with technical data sheets; we do not take responsibility for the production results from any of our systems nor do we indemnify our customers for the product results or changes that may occur. Mistakes can happen when confirming compatibility, and dispensing is a difficult trial and error process that requires extensive testing. IDS will take full responsibility for the equipment costs of items purchased from IDS that are not compatible ONLY if an IDS representative has confirmed them in writing.

"As we look to business opportunities and trends influencing future growth, none are potentially more impactful than companies re-shoring in North America. Companies are reconsidering previous off-shoring strategies as labor, transportation and material costs rise in emerging countries, making North America a much more competitive—and convenient—location for manufacturing companies to return home. Among them, numerous energy and lighting companies are re-shoring their manufacturing back to North America. The reasons vary. Some desire to protect their designs as well as save both transportation costs and lead times. Others recognize from recent port shutdowns on the West Coast that they cannot sell products if the cargo is out at sea." - BCG Global Manufacturing Cost-Competitiveness Index, Boston Consulting Group
