8880365 = 30/55 ML Syringe Adapter
The 30/55 cc/ml Syringe Adapter Assembly (shown left) consists of a clear tubing with an adapter head on one end (which holds the syringe) to an adapter tab on the other end which fits into the dispenser. The adapter assembly that connects the syringe to the controller delivers the air supply to the piston inside the syringe.
*Note: 30cc/ml and 55cc/ml use same adapter. Replacement O-Rings Available If Needed. EPR o-ring comes standard with adapter. Intended for use with Pneumatic Syringes (Air Powered) only!

Product Information:
This system is made up of two parts; The Heat Zone Controller (Readout in degrees C) and Heated Pistol Grip. The Heat Zone Controller offers 2 different contact point control options, one at the needle tip and one for the barrel in the Heated Pistol Grip.
It is intended to work with the electric triggers on our Analog Timed Air Dispenser or Digital Dual Gauge Dispenser. If you already have one of these dispensers, then you should only purchase the Syringe Heating System Alone. Otherwise, you need to add the dispenser of your choice in the full system packages.
Polyurethane is a polymer alternative to rubber, it is flexible and works in a range or temp settings and creates strong bonds. IDS does not offer any formulations, and it is up to the customer to be aware of all the safety requirements. Always use protective clothing, gloves, and eye or face protection when dispensing, and always make sure the work area is properly ventilated and secure.

You should use our all metal tips, usually in the 1" length and 15 gauge or smaller to help properly fit the heating element and protrude beyond the tip to a good work distance. Tips with steel shafts and plastic hubs use epoxy to hold the cannula in the hub. This epoxy could heat and break down, especially under pressure so it is best to use the all metal tips that have the shaft crimped into the hub. At lower heats some customers will continue to use the disposable plastic hubs. It is up to the customer to decide.
NEVER TOUCH THE HEAT CYLINDER IN THE GUN OR THE TIP WHILE HOT, AND NEVER RUN AN EMPTY SYRINGE. We do not suggest heating above 120 C. The customer assumes all risk when deciding how to use this system. The all metal tip will also remain hot after removing a syringe from the gun. IDS Syringes should not be heated empty. Heating an empty syringe too hot for too long could melt the syringe. Spare guns are available as special order if they are needed.
