IntelliSpense™ Manual Syringes
IntelliSpense™ Manual Syringes are complete units, ready to use. They include syringe barrels (1CC to 60CC in Luer Slip and 3 to 60CC in Luer Lock), plungers (push rods inside the barrel) and pistons (black neoprene piece that is manually pushed to move the material forward). There is a lubricant used in the barrel, (PDMS), Polydimethylsiloxane, a silicone. If there is a question about compatibility, check with your formulator. Luer Lock and Luer Slip Manual Syringes (shown below) are shipped assembled. We also have a variety of specialty syringes available on request.
Luer Lock Manual SyringesLuer Lock Polypropylene manual syringes (shown above) are preassembled with calibrated barrels. Luer Lock needles thread into the collar on the syringe. The neoprene pistons and the inside of the barrel are lightly coated with silicone, assembled.
If you require a silicone free syringe, use Pneumatic Syringes with an inexpensive Manual Syringe Gun. These lightweight plastic guns are not for use with manual syringes, as they have their own plunger rod and adapter head built in. |
Luer Slip Manual SyringesLuer Slip Polypropylene manual syringes (shown left) are sold pre-assembled with calibrated barrels to gauge material dispensed. Luer slip needles and syringes utilize a press fit; the needle simply presses onto the nipple.

Some Luer Slip Syringes have a "Side Port". These are the 20cc, 30cc and 60cc sizes. All of the smaller sizes have the center port. See individual pictures in the shopping cart for more detail.

1 cc is equivalent to 1 ml. 1 teaspoonful is equivalent to 5 ml/cc. 3 teaspoonfuls are equivalent to 1 tablespoonful.
